Job Summary:
The Head of Managed Security Services is a highly organized and self-disciplined professional responsible for leading the cybersecurity team and overseeing all aspects of technical information security services and the Security Operations Center (SOC) for the company. This role requires strong time management skills and the ability to act as a strategic leader.
Job Duties:
Individual Responsibilities:
- Service Management Strategy: Develop and manage the overall strategy for security services provided to clients.
- Client Advising: Act as a senior, strategic advisor for key clients on complex cybersecurity matters.
- Stakeholder Communication (Executive Level): Communicate significant IT security threats and strategic updates to executive-level stakeholders.
- Incident Response Management Oversight: Oversee the overall incident detection and response process, ensuring compliance with client SLAs and driving continuous improvement.
- Escalation Point (Strategic): Act as the ultimate escalation point for critical and strategic cybersecurity-related topics.
- Data Protection Policy: Establish and enforce policies for the security and proper use of company and client data.
- Technology Awareness (Strategic Direction): Research and evaluate the latest IT security innovations to inform strategic decisions and the direction of services.
Team Responsibilities (Overseen and managed by the Head of Managed Security Services):
- System Administration: Administer the security systems used to provide services to clients.
- Threat Monitoring: Monitor security vulnerabilities and hacking threats in network and host systems.
- Incident Investigation: Conduct investigations of reported security incidents.
- Team Leadership (Daily Management): Manage the daily operations and tasks of the cybersecurity team.
- Incident Response Execution: Execute the incident detection and response procedures.
- Access Control Implementation: Implement and manage access controls to ensure only authorized personnel have access to restricted data and systems.
- System Hardening: Implement technical component hardening according to recommendations and best practices.
- Vulnerability Management (Tactical): Conduct threat and vulnerability assessment reports and address findings at a technical level.
Education, Experience and Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Engineering in Computer and Communication Engineering or equivalent.
- Experience: 10+ years in information security.
- Language Proficiency in French, English and Arabic.
- Communication Skills: Excellent internal and external communication abilities.
- Organizational Skills: Strong organizational and time management skills.
