Mission:
Managing, following up and working with the designated legal team in HQ as well as the regions so as to ensure delivery of KPI’s inaccordance with law and company policy and procedures.
Key Accountabilities:
• Develop and implement the legal strategy, policies and procedures covering all areas of legal activity so that all relevant procedural requirements are fulfilled while delivering a quality, cost effective service.
• Primary responsibility for all the day-to-day activities relating to the business.
• Responsible for managing the other members of the Legal Team in ensuring service is being delivered efficiently, consistently and with technical excellence.
• Reviewing, drafting and advising on all legal documents to be executed including but not limited to tender documents, procurement, marketing, sales, human resource, financing and other telecommunication business related contracts, employment agreements, MoUs, and bonds.
• Experience in supporting the bids, submissions and evaluations and handling related legal activity is essential.
• Provide accurate, decisive and timely legal advice to various Business units.
• Drafting reviewing and negotiating a variety of commercial contracts.
• Assisting Head of Legal on legal matters and ensure compliancy is adhered too.
• Ensure that matters arising from legal issues are promptly identified and dealt with accordingly.
• Advise on operational strategies.
• Advising on and managing litigations related to the company and providing correct legal advise inaccordance with applicable law.
• Providing Legal opinions to the internal customer on different issues as and when required.
• Undertaking such tasks and responsibilities as may be delegated.
