Responsibilities:

• Ensure optimal risk transfer and capital protection through appropriate reinsurance arrangements.
• Draft, review, and manage reinsurance contracts and agreements.
• Maintain documentation of treaties and endorsements.
• Coordinate reinsurance recoveries from reinsurers following claims events.
• Ensure timely submission and collection of reinsurance claims.
• Reconcile reinsurance receivables and payables with accounting teams.
• Analyze underwriting and loss data to assess risk exposure.
• Provide input on underwriting strategies based on reinsurance availability and cost.
• Maintain strong relationships with reinsurers, brokers, and other external stakeholders.
• Liaise with internal departments (underwriting, claims, finance, compliance).
• Analyze reinsurance costs and their impact on company profitability.

Education, Experience and Qualifications:

• Holder of a Bachelor's degree in Insurance, Actuarial, Business Admnisitration, or equivalent.
• 3-8 years of relevant experience.
• Good communication skills.
• Good organizational skills.
• Analytical skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office, specifically Advanced MS Excel skills
