Job Summary:

The client is looking for a highly experienced and qualified Controller to join their dynamic team. Their primary operations include the automotive industry, along with trading in parts and providing shipping agency services.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in financial management, audit, tax, and reporting, with the ability to develop comprehensive written policies and procedures. This role requires a proactive professional with excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and a thorough understanding of the automotive industry’s financial landscape.

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Oversee and manage all financial reporting processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with local regulations and international standards.
  • Lead and coordinate internal and external audits, ensuring timely completion and addressing any audit findings.
  • Prepare and review tax filings, ensuring adherence to Jordanian tax laws and regulations.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain financial policies, procedures, and internal controls to strengthen the company’s financial integrity.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory requirements and company policies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline financial operations and improve reporting efficiency.
  • Stay updated with changes in tax laws, audit standards, and financial regulations affecting the automotive industry.

Education, Experience and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; a Master’s degree or professional certification (CPA, CMA, ACCA) is preferred. 
  • 5-8 years of relevant experience in financial control, audit, tax, and reporting, preferably within the automotive or Audit sectors. 
  • Arabic & English are must.
  • Strong knowledge of Jordanian tax laws, auditing standards, and financial reporting frameworks.
  • Proven experience in developing and implementing financial policies and procedures.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
