Job Description

Scope of work:

Responsible for all sales activities in assigned projects; develop and maintain excellent relationships with projects stakeholders to achieve maximum sales profitability by recommending the right solutions.

Main Duties & Responsibilities:

Prospecting and Relationship Management:

  • Present the company products and services to potential clients through direct communication in face-to-face meetings, online meetings, telephone calls and emails.
  • Locate opportunities, develop new business relationships, and maintain existing ones with major stakeholders’ customers such as: Architects, Interior Designers, Consultants, and Contractors for the various product ranges carried by the Company.
  • Possess drive, motivation and acute attention to detail in ensuring all sales opportunities to the company are captured and explored.
  • Forward encountered opportunities for other Business Units to the concerned parties as per the instructions of the Sales Manager and in his absence as per the instructions of the General Manager.

Specification:

  • Visit architects, Interior Designers and consultants to specify company's portfolio.
  • Secure and develop specifications and purchase commitments at the contractors' community.

 Projects Management/ Sales Process:

  • Manage actively and successfully the sales process.
  • Prepare and commit to the sales forecast with the management at the beginning of the year.
  • Achieve periodic sales targets set at the beginning of each year.
  • Initiate leads in the Projects market with specifiers, contractors and property owners.
  • Analyze projects specifications and present technical solutions to prospect customers.
  • Liaise with manufacturers/vendors to find products with the required specs and negotiate for best price.
  • Prepare, negotiate offers, and close deals.
  • Follow up on orders and on clients’ requests.
  • Initiate, follow up and obtain approval of the material submittal in accordance with project specifications, requirements and conditions.
  • Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential crises, risk vs. reward and advise contingency plans necessary to successfully complete project assignments.
  • Respond to tenders and requests for information in a specific time.
  • Prepare designs, solutions’ simulations, submittals, data from clients, handing over sheets, and offers. in coordination with the technical Support department.
  • Sign contracts with the clients including term of payments and delivery dates following company’s policy & procedure.
  • Follow up the delivery with the warehouse and the operations teams.
  • Responsible of the timely money collection with clients as agreed in the contract terms. Escalate the issues of non-paying clients to the Sales Manager, and General Manager when necessary.
  • Provide clients with the needed support on installation through project engineers or execution teams.
  • Ensure all sales administration is documented, saved & logged into the CRM software in place and ERP.
  • Provide monthly progress reports to management on visits, projects’ log and project status.
  • Ensure proper handing over of the project’s documentation needed to the project management team for timely and accurate execution documented by email. 

Customer Service:

  • Maintain a high level of personalized customer service at all times.
  • Responsibility for answering customer queries and complaints and dealing with them effectively.
  • Ensure the company’s remains proactive and responsive to prospective clients.
  • Protect organization's value by keeping information confidential.
  • Ensure the company’s service is up to stakeholders’ expectations throughout the sales process. (Site visit after job completion is an essential point for customers' satisfaction, if possible).

Market/Product Knowledge and Development:

  • Identify trendsetter ideas by researching industry and related events, publications and announcements; track new products development and technology evolvement in the field.
  • Update Job Knowledge by patricipating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications;maintain personal networks;participate in professional organizations, online trainings, exhibitions etc..
  • Enhance prganization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests;exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
  • Other duties as assigned.   

Education, Experience and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering or its equivalent.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in related field handling similar role sales preferably in Fire Alarms, Fire suppression or technology related industries.
  • Computer Skills (MS Office, CRM, ERP).
  • Language Skills – Trilingual (Arabic, English and French).
  • Basic skills in using AutoCAD and other products’ related programs.
