Job Description

Role Purpose:

The IT Manager is responsible for the planning, implementation, and day-to-day management of all information technology infrastructure, systems, and services at the Company. The role ensures that the Mall's operational and corporate IT environment is reliable, secure, and fit for purpose — supporting property management, finance, leasing, operations, and marketing functions. Working closely with the IT Advisory Consultant and relevant system vendors, the IT Manager leads the in-house development and maintenance of the company's property management platform, oversees network and systems infrastructure, and ensures IT resilience across the Mall's operating environment, including Lebanon's specific power and connectivity constraints.

Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities:

  • Manage the day-to-day operation, maintenance, and performance of all IT infrastructure at the Mall, including network, servers, workstations, CCTV integration, BMS connectivity, access control systems, and telecommunications.
  • Lead the implementation, ongoing development, and user support of the Company's in-house property management system, coordinating with the IT Advisory Consultant and any contracted developers to deliver agreed functionality on schedule.
  • Ensure IT system resilience and business continuity across all operational functions, with particular attention to offline capability and backup systems given Lebanon's power and connectivity environment.
  • Manage and supervise the Network Administrator team (in-house and outsourced), setting clear responsibilities, performance expectations, and service standards.
  • Administer and maintain the data warehouse and analytics dashboard environment, ensuring data integrity, availability, and appropriate access controls across all departments.
  • Develop and maintain the IT infrastructure roadmap in consultation with the CEO and IT Advisory Consultant, aligned with Company's operational growth and the Mall's phased redevelopment programme.
  • Manage relationships with all IT vendors, service providers, and system integrators; oversee contracts, SLAs, and performance against agreed deliverables.
  • Ensure robust cybersecurity practices across all Company systems, including user access management, data protection, firewall and endpoint security, and regular vulnerability assessments.
  • Provide first and second-line IT support to all Company staff, ensuring issues are resolved promptly and that service disruption to operations is minimised.
  • Maintain a complete and current IT asset inventory, software licences, and system documentation.
  • Develop and deliver IT induction and system training for all new Company staff; provide ongoing training as systems and platforms evolve.
  • Prepare IT performance and incident reports for the CEO on a regular basis; escalate material risks or system failures immediately.
  • Ensure all IT activities comply with applicable Lebanese data protection regulations, Company's internal policies, and relevant cybersecurity standards.

Education, Experience and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline. Relevant professional certifications (e.g. CCNA, CompTIA Network+, Microsoft Certified, or equivalent) are highly desirable.
  • Minimum 6–8 years of progressive experience in IT management or systems administration, with at least 2 years in a management or team leadership role. Experience in Lebanon, with practical knowledge of operating IT infrastructure in an environment with intermittent power and connectivity, is essential. Experience within real estate, retail, or a multi-function commercial property environment is strongly preferred. Familiarity with property management systems, data warehousing, or custom application development is an advantage.
  • LAN/WAN, Windows server, virtualisation, cybersecurity tools.
  • Arabic and English (Both Proficient).
  • Practical experience managing IT infrastructure in Lebanon's power.
