Core Responsibilities: 

Bid & Proposal:

• Technical Proposal Development: Analyze tender documents, request for proposals (RFPs), and technical specifications to design compliant, competitive technical proposals.
• Cost Estimation & Budgeting: Calculate accurate cost estimations, material take-offs, labor requirements, and vendor pricing to prepare the final commercial bid.
• Vendor & Subcontractor Management: Source, evaluate, and negotiate quotes from suppliers and subcontractors to ensure technical compliance and optimized pricing.
• Risk Assessment: Identify potential technical, financial, and contractual risks within tender documents and develop mitigation strategies.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Coordinate with engineering, sales, legal, and project management teams to gather necessary inputs and align bid strategies.
• Bid Documentation Management: Prepare, compile, and organize all required tender submission documents, ensuring strict adherence to deadlines and client formats.
• Post-Bid Support: Assist the project handover team after a successful bid, explaining the technical scope, cost breakdowns, and contractual commitments.

Corporate Communications & Branding:

• Content Creation & Storytelling: Translate complex engineering data, technical case studies, and project milestones into clear, engaging content for non-technical audiences.
• Digital Media Management: Manage and update the company website, corporate LinkedIn profile, and social media channels with project updates, industry insights, and thought leadership pieces.
• Internal Communications: Develop and distribute company-wide newsletters, internal announcements, and executive memos to keep multidisciplinary engineering teams aligned and engaged.
• Brand & Reputation Management: Ensure all marketing materials, technical reports, and corporate presentations strictly adhere to brand guidelines and maintain a professional visual identity.

Education, Experience and Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
• Min 8 to 9 years experience. 
• Proven experience as a Bid Engineer or Proposal Engineer within the engineering or construction sectors.
• Strong proficiency in cost-estimation software, MS Excel, and technical drawing viewers (such as Autodesk AutoCAD).
• English and Arabic are a must.
• Exceptional writing, editing, and professional presentation skills, with a proven ability to distill complex technical jargon into clear value propositions.
