The Facade Designer will support the technical team leader and collaborate with the team to develop preliminary façade details, prepare 2D drafting and shop drawing submittals, and assist in material and cutting list preparation. You have to follow departmental procedures, participate in regular progress meetings, and stay updated on industry trends and relevant software. Detailed Job description mentioned below: 

• Report to the Technical Team leader and work in cooperation with the remaining team members.
• Produce if needed preliminary details of facade systems based on architectural sketches and structural requirements.
• Provide 2D drafting using AutoCAD software or other software in delivering the official submittals of shop drawing packages for facade / curtain wall projects and preparing material schedules.
• Coordinate with the technical team leader and monitor the submission schedules to ensure the production of deliverables as per set and agreed timelines and within budget.
• Coordinate with the relevant parties to raise/resolve project related issues which could affect the delivery of the documentation.
• Maintain internal document control of drawings.
• Contribute in the issuing of material list in coordination with the team leader and as per his/ her instruction.
• Contribute in the issuing of cutting list in coordination with the team leader and as per his/ her instruction.
• Follow the department procedure and provide all needed cover sheets and forms with all related deliverables..
• Attend daily/ weekly/ monthly meeting with the technical manager for works evaluation.
• Stay current on industry trends, technologies, and most practical software.
